USA Swimming requires member clubs implement the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) effective as of September 1, 2021. USA Swimming member clubs and Local Swimming Committees are required to implement the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy in full. This Policy addresses risk areas that present opportunities for abuse to occur.
